Anemia — Anemia is a medical condition that can produce fatigue, weakness, poor concentration, and other symptoms that resemble depression. A primary care provider may use a medical history, physical examination, and laboratory testing to determine whether anemia contributes to a person’s difficulties. Identifying and treating anemia helps prevent a medical problem from being mistaken for a purely psychological condition. — Medical Contributors
